Location data in the SaverIT mobile app
The SaverIT mobile application may use location data when employees register their presence at a construction site or when safety features such as Lone Worker monitoring or emergency alerts are used.
Location information is only used for work-related purposes, including:
- Confirming presence at a construction site
- Supporting time registration and attendance verification
- Starting a lone worker safety session
- Confirming safety check-ins
- Sending an SOS alert
In emergency situations or when working alone, the app collects your location data in the background, even when the app is not in use or your screen is turned off. This is essential to immediately determine your location in emergency situations (such as sending an SOS message or during evacuation).
SaverIT does not use location data for advertising, profiling, or commercial tracking.
